There is something rather dart-ish about the F1. I love the concept of weekend brunch. By brunch I mean a breakfast/lunchy sort of menu that starts from about 9am-ish; not the bloatingly enormous, buffet brunches that start at lunchtime. Aren’t they just lunch but by another name?
A proper, early brunch in Singapore is surprisingly hard to come by. There are lots that start at around 11am but very few who offer what is commonplace in the States.

This little gem of a jewellery find is strictly word of mouth and is run by Angel Carew-Jones who is super talented and under prices her fabulous, fun jewellery. Majoring in earrings there are also bracelets and necklaces, but it’s her earrings that I love best. At my last count, I own seven pairs.

I’m re-running a post from last year’s throughly successful visit to the Chinese Garden in Jurong. Yup it’s lantern festival time again.
This year though, the guys in charge of the decor at have gone decidedly off-piste: instead of all the pretty lanterns you might be forgiven for expecting to see, they have blown the budget on enormous moving, roaring…um…dinosaur models. A huge hit with the children but I have to say, visually, I much preferred it last year. And besides, what do dinosaurs have to do with the mid-Autumn festival?
