Tim Ho Wan

By Monday, 21 April 2014 Food & Drink, Restaurant Reviews

I made it here. Finally. Not someone able to cope well with the idea of queuing for my food, I chanced upon a line-less Tim Ho Wan in Plaza Sing a few days ago and jumped at the chance to sample their wares. Rude not to.

In case you have been living under a stone, Tim Ho Wan is Hong Kong’s dim sum god who has earned himself a Michelin star for his dumplings, despite the very canteen-feel his restaurants seem to have.

Easter Brunch

By Sunday, 20 April 2014 Brit Stuff, Festivals, Food & Drink

Easter is a funny time of year for me, a time when I often feel nostalgic for life in the UK. Always keen on a shortcut, I have decided to throw myself in at the deep end with something called Tabata (pronounced ‘tabarta’). It’s a four minute workout that can burn MORE fat than one an hour long. My regular readers will probably already know, before I type another word, that I love the sound of this.
