I love a French pharmacy. I can spend hours in one snapping up beauty products that not only work but don’t break the bank. My favorite brand that is delightfully commonplace in chemists there is probably Caudalie. However, a little bit of French pharmacy joy has worked its way over to us here in Singapore…and for the princely sum of $15.
No, not Caudalie but Bioderma. This little bottle of miracle water – technically called ‘micelle solution’ and pictured above – shifts make-up like nothing else I have ever experienced, even on the very first wipe.
When I lazily use eye make-up remover to take off make-up on my face, it takes at least two swipes to start to see a result…and I don’t wear huge amounts of make-up. With this, you just apply a few squirts to a cotton pad and it cleanses both face and eyes gently, without any pulling, in what – literally – feels like seconds. It also has a lovely, light watery consistency that isn’t at all oily.
Whilst I’d like to claim to be some sort of beauty genius, my bottle of Bioderma ‘Solution Micellaire’ was spotted and bought for me by Changmama who has been visiting this last week and who knows a thing or two about cleansers.
The Biodema product line is sold in Singapore at Guardian. This sensitive face/eye cleansing and make-up removing solution is called Sensibio H2O and was lurking at the very front in the ‘special offers’ bit last week. It costs $15.90 for 100ml, $29.90 for 250ml or you can knock yourself out and buy 500ml for $39.90.
Hurrah for Changmama 🙂 x
