There were some seriously impressive efforts last night at the various houses we visited on our meticulously planned trick or treat route, trailing children of all ages in our wake.
Including this:
Going local; a watermelon was so much cooler than a pumpkin and also presumably miles softer to carve too (full credit to MS).
The puking pumpkin was also an A* effort and I like the fact you don’t have to bother to cut out its eyes, which I always find really hard to do
Credit to the wonderful EK, the Martha Stewart of Singapore.
My offering was the decidedly low effort but rather good looking Ghost Bread:
Quite possibly the laziest Halloween food in the whole wide world.
A few people actually asked me how I made it which made me change the subject and talk about the weather. It’s embarrassingly easy.
“Recipe” (requirements might be a more accurate word):
-White Gardenia bread
-x1 cookie cutter from Phoon Huat or similar
– Choc chips for the eyes
A belated Happy Halloween!
