Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream was one of the first beauty products my mother ever introduced me to. I was about 14 and I still love it.
Very excitingly, for a former PR girl who has spent much of her life asking writers and journalists to come to events and product launches, I attended my first ever, yesterday, on the right side of the fence in the capacity of the blogger Changmoh Girl. To celebrate the launch of the new Dr. Hauschka store (rather than my attendance) there is a 30% discount on one of their product lines and 20% off everything else, until close of play today.
I’d only ever noticed that Dr. Hauschka had an outlet here in Singapore when I was on my way to the loo after drinking too much red wine with a pizza from La Forketta, at Nassim (double fail on the carb count). It always surprised me that such a global beauty brand was hidden away here in a mall I rarely go to.
So, finally, the alma mater of skincare has landed. At ION.
It’s on B3 (#55/56); the best level. I love the basement floors as they’re packed with all the stores I want to go to: Daiso, Royce, Kikki K, Uniqlo, Kiehl’s and now Dr H.
I’m looking forward to trying all my goodies including BO Basher – deodorant, to anyone who is not a product of an English all-girls boarding school – and mineral make up in the form of bronzer, rouge (sounds so wonderfully old fashioned that I love it already) and eyeshadow.

While editing this post to fit the format of my new site, it occurs to mention that when I posted this I was not working as a social media consultant for Dr. Hauschka, which I am now. See here for details.
