A hideously cheesy image, but it gets across the point of this beauty, instantly.  The best gadget this Christmas – in our household anyway – takes the form of an amazing little spray pump you plunge straight into a real lemon. As if by magic, you are instantly imbued with the power to squirt juice directly from the fruit (and I’m not talking about a feeble dribble, but a proper spray).

I am not sure I have ever wanted to possess the ability to be able to do this, but it works so brilliantly and is so strangely pleasing to use that I have come over all domestic (it’s also great for spritzing into a G&T).

Not a pip in sight and no chopping board or knife needed. Just shove this:

in to any part of the lemon…and hey presto.
