OK, TOTALLY unofficially. Lulu Guinness doesn’t even know my mother. But when I was given one of her beautiful purses at Christmas this year from my lovely and most generous friend LPJ…
…I instantly thought of the engagement picture that had been taken of my mother by an old fashioned photographer in Tetbury when she was the tender age of 24:
It was featured in Country Life the year my parents got married…as well as, it turns out, my purse.
I use it everyday and it reminds me of her.
