From one end of the UK (Cornwall) to the other: Scotland. I’m staying in the wilds of Dumfriesshire – where the nearest shop is a 15 minute drive away – visiting my parents who live in the one area of the country where sun really is considered quite unusual and rain standard.
So far though, I’ve been lucky and as the sun came up this morning (daybreak is around 8am; the pictures above and below were all taken at one minute past eight today) it may be bleak but it is beautiful:
