I am off to NYC in a few weeks for an insanely short amount of time (3 days).  Before getting there, like any sensible girl would, I am doing a bit of research on what places and shops I will be making a dash for first.

After combing through tons of wonderful blogs all about New York city shopping, eating and living, one of the shamelessly non-cultural places I am dying to visit is Madewell.

Basically J Crew’s little sister (it’s part of the same group, but edgier), prices rock just about as much as their clothes do. I love this dress (available online only) which I have just ordered to be sent to my friend’s apartment in time for a post touchdown try on.
