Happy 2016 everyone!
I found myself reaching for the hand cream (OK, and the wine) quite a lot over Christmas and New Year. Having been in England for a while, my hands felt particularly reptilian.
I favour slathering the stuff on just before sleeping and I woke after night #1 to a pair of plumped up, youthful-looking mitts (instead of a crêpey hands with thin skin, covered in quite a few lines and one dastardly age spot).
I had snatched up the long-forgotten tube from the depths of a drawer, it was a few summers old (at least) but the results made me take a second look. Nuxe. A brand that is good but not that good.
I put my glass of wine down and examined it properly. Whoops. It wasn’t hand cream at all. It was in fact foot cream *facepalm*.
But it really doesn’t matter. It’s my new-found elixir that will hopefully help me guard my relative youth a little while longer.
PS: You heard it here first: a lot of A-listers who have had botox/plastic surgery/work need trowels more make up on their hands than their faces. There is no help for hands except hand cream, hand cream, hand cream. Or should I say, foot cream, foot cream, foot cream. Say it with me.
